Attached is a survey that you can distribute to the kids regarding the safety features that might/might not be present in a vehicle of their choice.  (I offered that they could use a vehicle from the internet to help some "save face").  It really opened up some good diaglogue between some of my students and their family members, neighbors, etc. as they inquired about what was present in their vehicle.

Driver’s Seatbelt reminder (light, beep, etc)
Passenger seatbelt reminder (light, beep, etc)
4-wheel anti-lock brake system
Tire Pressure Monitoring/Alert System
Integrated safety belt systems (mounts entirely & directly to seat rather than to floor/pillar)
Pretensioner  (one-use device; retracts belt almost instantly to remove excess slack)
