After reading For You To Read and Physics Talk, students should explain the results they observed in the For You To Do with the physics principles described in the text. What successes did you have in facilitating this? Did you develop or locate any resources you would like to share with other teachers?

Using the supplied video, where students can actually count the "hang time" frame by frame really points out the misconceptin of length of time a person can actually stay in the air.

There is no video camera with shutter time fast enough to capture the infinitessimally small amount of time Pete is in the air when he jumps.
Wipe it!
