We have provided opportunities below to comment on the What Do You Think or the For You to Do or the Physics Talk.  If that level of organization is not suitable for you for comments, then please use this thread.  Do you have any general suggestions/questions/comments that you would like to make about this Activity?

For the students who are unfamiliar with pole vaulting, would a video be helpful and any suggestions as to where to find  such a video?

Just take a small sapling with the branches cut off and run across the room.  Then jam  it in to a hole in the floor and vault yourself over the student desks. It'll be fun and the students will think you are so cool.

One possible source of videos of pole vaulting might be the track coach at your school.  He/she might have training videos or perhaps set up a demonstration for you.

More room at the tables for the other kids.  Plus, if I videotape the incident I might win $ on funniest home videos. Smiley

Wow Becky way to go this is going to do wonders in my class.  Hope all is going well since you are way ahead of most of us.  We have just started activity 2.  I am going to post my stuff from chapter 5 now so feel free to use what ever u may like (or give suggestions of things that could be done better since I am WAY new at this).  I hope this will help you as you are helping us all so very much
